Rosie came to us “out of the blue”, thus her registered name is Mountain Joy’s Out of the Blue. She is very light colored and a true lover dog who thinks she is a lap dog. She is sweet, obedient, loves her bones and hiking with her humans. She has loved playing with the puppies from Brook’s litters so we think she will make a good mama.

In her Genetic Testing, Rosie tested Normal / Clear / Negative on all breed specific diseases with the exception that she is a carrier for the Ichthyosis mutation (a skin condition) She is not affected by this condition and it means she needs to be bred to a male that is not a carrier. If this is the case, the puppies will not have the condition.
Brook came to the states from Serbia in her mother’s womb. She is very light-colored, nearly white, and is oh so sweet. She is smart and loves her humans and just hanging with them. She is a great traveler and likes “special sauces” on her meals. One of her favorite things to do is lie on the back of the sofa and look out the living room window, like a cat, and watch all the action outside.

For our Summer 2025 litter stud, we are using Jezero, from Moonlight Goldens. Jezero is imported from Serbia, weighs 81 pounds, and has beautiful white flowing fur with a few curls down his lower back. He is gentle, smart, and sensitive. He is super handsome, playful, and loves attention.

Meet Gunther. Bred by Moonlight Goldens, Gunther’s dam was imported from Serbia but originally bred in Germany. His sire was bred and imported from Russia. Gunther is 100% European Cream, cream in color, with a big, blocky head. He is very mellow and gentle and is a true lover dog. Gunther is motivated by affection over treats. When he is excited he turns in circles and loves just being with his people.

*It is rare for a dog to be rated with excellent hips. Two of three independent outside evaluations by radiologists must have rated the dog’s hips as Excellent. According to OFA hip dysplasia statistics, of the golden retrievers born between 2011 and 2015, 10,707 were evaluated. Only 8.5% of those had hips rates as excellent.
